Terms of Service

1. Service description

rssdiag is a feed diagnosis tool. It accepts a feed URL provided by a user, fetches the feed, analyses it for common defects, and presents a report of its findings. The service is provided as-is, on a best-effort basis.

2. Free plan

The Free plan lets you diagnose single feeds without creating an account or providing any personal information. No signup, no account, and no email address are required. Features available under the Free plan are listed on the pricing page and may change over time.

3. Billing

This section applies to Pro subscriptions. Pro subscriptions are not yet available — the billing terms below describe what will apply once the Pro plan is launched and a payment processor is connected.

What you are buying

A Pro subscription grants access to additional features: batch feed checking, exportable reports, re-check history, and priority support. These features are listed on the pricing page.

Price and billing period

Pro is billed at $9 per month, payable in advance. Each billing period is one calendar month. You will be charged on the same day of each month as your initial subscription date. If that day does not exist in a given month (e.g. the 31st), the charge will be processed on the last day of that month.

Failed payments

If a monthly charge fails (e.g. your card is declined or expired):

• We will retry the charge automatically up to three times over the following seven days.
• You will receive a notification after the first failed attempt.
• If all retries fail, your Pro access will be suspended until the payment is successfully processed.
• You can update your payment method at any time through your account settings.

Cancellation

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time. After cancellation, you retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for the remainder of a period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.

Refund policy

If you experience a defect that prevents the core diagnosis feature from working and we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable time, you may request a refund for the most recent month's payment. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. No refunds are issued for partial months or for reasons unrelated to the core functionality of the service.

4. No account, no data storage

rssdiag does not require an account for free use. Each diagnosis is independent: we fetch the feed, analyse it, and return the result. Feed URLs, feed content, and diagnostic reports are not stored server-side after the response is delivered.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to diagnose feeds you do not have permission to access.
• Automate diagnosis at a rate that would degrade service for other users.
• Submit the same feed URL at a rate exceeding one request per 10 seconds.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that every feed defect will be detected, nor that every diagnosis will be accurate. Feed diagnosis results are informational — they do not constitute professional or legal advice.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
